What is the weather like in China?

With a country the size of China there can be extremes in climate from North to South, however, the months of (early) May, September and (early) October are ideal months for travel anywhere in the country.   We highly recommend checking the climate and conditions before you begin planning.

Money Matters

The official currency in China is the Renminbi (RMB or CNY).

The Bank of China has an ATM newtork that will allow cash advances from major credit/debit cards and ATM cards. Credit cards such as MasterCard, Visa and American Express are accepted in major hotels and department stores. 

Visa Requirements

For tourist visas, the following documents are required:-one completed application form -one recent 2"x2" passport photo-a valid passport with available blank pages for visa; and with more than a 6 month validity.
